Abstract :

Management practitioners who are accustomed to using such psychological tools as behavior modification and attitude testing to research the conscious elements in proper management behavior and change can gain added insight by applying psychoanalytic techniques to research the unconscious aspects. Although there is disagreement among professionals as to the full efficacy of psychoanalysis, an eclectic manager will find it a beneficial extra tool in providing information that could not be extracted by other means.
