Abstract :

Dengue fever is an arboviral infection transmitted by the Aedes genus of mosquito found in tropical and subtropical regions. Clinical features of dengue include fever, headache, myalgia/arthralgia and skin flushing/rash, along with leucopenia, thrombocytopenia and increased liver function. The diagnosis, management and possible prevention of dengue fever are discussed.
