Abstract :

4-Hydroxy-2H chromenes are fused benzopyran rings, an important class of biologically active compounds that are widely used as antibacterial, antiviral, antitumor, and anticancer agents. In this paper, we report the synthesis of 4-hydroxy-2H chromenes using two catalysts: (i) ZnO nanoparticles and (ii) mesoporous ZnO/AlSBA-15(7). The ZnO nanoparticle catalyst was prepared using leaf extract, and ZnO/AlSBA-15(7) catalysts were prepared by a wet chemical route. All catalysts were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS), Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectroscopy, and [N.sub.2] sorption techniques. The catalytic activity of the synthesized catalyst was evaluated in a one-pot reaction using aromatic aldehyde and coumarin and was found to have a maximum yield of 81% at 80 [degrees]C, with a catalyst dose of 10 mmol %, and in a time limit of 4 h. Les 4-hydroxy-2H-chromenes, des composes cycliques fusionnes a base de benzopyrane, constituent une classe importante de composes biologiquement actifs qui sont largement utilises comme agents antibacteriens, antiviraux, antitumoraux et anticancereux. Dans le present article, nous decrivons la synthese de 4-hydroxy-2H-chromenes a l'aide de deux catalyseurs, a savoir (i) des nanoparticules (NP) de ZnO et (ii) un catalyseur mesoporeux a base de ZnO/AlSBA15(7). Le catalyseur a base de NP de ZnO a ete prepare a partir d'un extrait de feuille, tandis que le catalyseur a base de ZnO/AlSBA15(7) a ete synthetise par voie chimique humide. Les deux catalyseurs ont ete caracterises par diffraction des rayons X (DRX), microscopie electronique a balayage (MEB), spectroscopie a dispersion d'energie (EDS), spectroscopie infrarouge a transformee de Fourier (FTIR) et adsorption-desorption de [N.sub.2]. Nous avons evalue l'activite catalytique du catalyseur synthetise dans la reaction monotope entre un aldehyde aromatique et la coumarine, et nous avons observe un rendement maximal de 81 % a une temperature de 80 [degrees]C, avec une quantite de catalyseur de 10 mmol% et a l'interieur d'une periode 4 h.
