Abstract :

In the copper-oxalate framework compound [(C2H5)3NH]2Cu2(C2O4)3, Cu(II) is coordinated with three bisbidentate oxalate bridges to form a three-dimensional (10,3) lattice. This produces a strong antiferromagnetic interaction between Cu2+ (S = 1/2) atoms ([theta] = [theta]180 K).This compound highlights the great potential for obtaining quantum spin liquid (QSL) of varying dimensionality from metaluorganic frameworks.
