Abstract :

Studies show that attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) in children is a significant factor that could increase risk for alcoholism and drug addiction in their adulthood. Thus, the treatment of ADHD should focus on the alleviation of ADHD's symptoms to avoid the development of the other.
