Abstract :

The effectiveness of messenger RNA vaccines BNT162b2 and mRNA-1273 against symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection gradually rose from 48% about 14 to 20 days after one dose to 71% about 35 to 41 days after one dose. The observations were made in Ontario, Canada. Vaccine effectiveness against severe covid-19 outcomes after one dose rose from 62% to 91%.
