Abstract :

A rapid injection NMR (RINMR) apparatus that operates at temperatures low enough to enable the measurement of reaction rates faster than the rate of interconversion of aggregates is developed. This is particular significant for rationales of regio-, stereo-, and chemoselectivities of organolithium reactions that invoke competition between aggregation rates.
