En el presente artículo se presenta el relato de la ñusta Chuquillanto y el pastor Acoytapia contenido en el manuscrito Galvin de fray Martín de Murúa (1590). Se proponen claves para su lectura literaria y a partir de etnocategorías que permiten entender la configuración del espacio geográfico y mítico sagrado de la zona de Calca, Perú. This article presents the story of the 'ñusta' Chuquillanto and the shepherd Acoytapia contained in the Galvin manuscript of fray Martín de Murúa (1590). It proposes keys for its literary reading and from ethnocategories that allow to understand the configuration of the sacred geographical and mythical space of the area of Calca, Peru. Este artigo apresenta a historia da ñusta Chuquillanto e do pastor Acoytapia contida no manuscrito de Galvin de Fray Martín de Murúa (1590). Ela propõe chaves para sua leitura literária e de etnocategorias que nos permitem compreender a configuração do espaço geográfico e mítico sagrado da região de Calca, no Peru.
