Warren G. Harding
The twenty-ninth president of the United States, Warren Gamaliel Harding (1865-1923), highly popular during his lifetime, was later regarded as one of the worst presidents in the country's history. Although he had landed in last place on two polls measuring presidential popularity, interest in Harding was piqued in 2014 when a trove of love letters from Harding to his mistress was unsealed.
Warren G. Harding was born on Nov. 2, 1865, on a farm near Blooming Grove, Ohio. He attended local schools and graduated from Ohio Central College in 1882.
