Leonard Peltier
Overview
Leonard Peltier is an American Indian activist and American Indian Movement (AIM) member. He has been incarcerated since 1977 for the death of two FBI agents. Though many have helped to free Peltier, who has denied he was responsible for the killings, his parole was denied various times through the years. He will not be eligible for parole again until 2024.
