Children of Undocumented Immigrants
Undocumented immigrants are foreign nationals who live in the United States without fulfilling the requirements of legal immigration. Such immigrants may enter by crossing the border without authorization, or they may arrive on a valid visa but continue to stay in country after it expires. For the children of undocumented immigrants, their legal status depends on whether they immigrated as children or if they were born after their parents arrived in the United States.
