Overview
Wind energy (also called wind power) is a form of alternative and renewable energy harvesting via the translation of the kinetic power of moving air masses into electrical current. Wind is a natural phenomenon that occurs globally as air moves across the surface of Earth in response to differences in atmospheric pressure and density, which is the result of the interaction of differential solar heating of Earth's topographic features.
