Overview
Feminism is a combination of political, cultural, and social movements that seek to end all sexism and strive for women’s equal rights. The feminist movement has influenced Western culture in many ways by helping women gain the right to vote and run for political office, demanding workplace rights that allow maternity leave, challenging the objectification of women, and acknowledging domestic violence.
Feminist ideals have been used in many literary works.
