Women's History Month Updated!
Women’s History Month is a national American celebration that takes place from March 1 to March 31 and focuses on American women throughout history who have contributed to fields such as the sciences, the arts, politics, and social activism. Some national institutions that participate in sharing information about women in history are the Library of Congress, National Archives and Records Administration, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Gallery of Art, National Park Service, Smithsonian Institution, and United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.
